Those of us using Windows computers (Such as XP or Windows 7) can speak to common experiences with some of the issues that occur. I'm sure most of you have had your computer lockup/freeze on you, sometimes it is very brief, sometimes it seems to be frozen for minutes, and then there are the times when nothing short of powering the computer down by pressing and holding the power button until the system just drops will correct the issue.
What about the dreaded 'Blue Screen of Death' which most have seen. Click Here to see a graphics of one if you are not familiar with this so far. What all that scribble code on the blue screen represents is the contents of the computer's memory at the time the system crashed. Unless you are a hyper nerd like me, don't try to make sense out of the blue screen output or it will only give you a headache. It still gives me a headache every time!
The power of the REBOOT. It never ceases to amaze me how many oddball issues a reboot can fix (sometimes a total shutdown and then power backup may be required to clear unexplainable system errors). Sadly enough, this is very common.

The two problems noted above can usually be fixed with a reboot, although this could be a temporary fix and the real problem not yet identified. Please select Troubleshooting from the left as needed.
The only good thing about common computer problems, or nuances, is that we can learn about them and know what to do when we are faced with a given situation. You don't need to know every detail on every link this page has, but the more you go through and absorb, I can promise you will experience less frustration than those that use a computer but do not have this knowledge. Take your time and I hope this helps you to become a Power User!!
